The Ukrainian Village Draught Beer Preservation Society's Central Committee
invites you to our first annual "Golden Revolution! Ukrainian Village Pub
Stroll" event.
The Society takes it's motto from an old Ukrainian saying: Yak pobachu pyvo,
ne proidu mymo -- "I will not walk past a beer, when I see it near."
Taking inspiration from Viktor Yushchenko's "Orange Revolution" campaign for
democracy in Ukraine, the Society will lead a free walking tour of some of
Ukrainian Village's premier public houses.
The draught itinerary for the Golden Revolution Stroll is as follows:
- 7 PM: Sak's Ukrainian Village Lounge & Restaurant, 2311 W. Chicago (Arrive early if you would like to enjoy some borscht and varenyky.)
- 8:30 PM: Ola's Liquor's, 947 N. Damen
- 9:30 PM: Gold Star Bar, 1755 W. Division
- 10:30 PM: Inner Town Pub, 1935 W. Thomas
- 11:30 PM: J & M Tap, 959 N. Leavitt
- 12:30 AM to ???: Stella's, 935 N. Western
Please note: The Stroll will strive to arrive at each of the taverns on the
half hour and depart for the next destination at 15 minutes past the hour.
